Thurrock Yacht Club

Thurrock Yacht Club, in easy reach of London and surrounding areas, offers 365 days, 24 hours deep water mooring access to the Thames. The club has ample yacht storage as well as an equipped workshop. Members can take part in club and inter-club racing as well as cruising on the East and South Coasts. 

In addition, the Club has a flourishing dinghy section which has its own dinghies including Wayfarers, all available to for members to sail and race.

Thurrock Yacht Club is a warm and welcoming Club whose members have a vast range of expertise that they very willing to share. The Club has its own Bar and the Thursday Club night, after yacht racing, will see members playing Darts and the like. It puts on social functions throughout the year.

Costs are very reasonable when one views exactly whats on offer. There are opportunities for new members, without a cruiser or dinghy, to crew and race both cruisers and dinghies. Potential members with their own yachts will find moorings readily available and dinghy owners will find space in our Dinghy/ Car park.

The club is within walking distance of Grays Railway Station as well offering good road access via the M25.
